SAML SSO: OneLogin integration

Use OneLogin to authenticate users in your workspace

In this tutorial you will see how you can integrate Tability with OneLogin to authenticate users via SAML SSO.

1. Enable SSO via SAML in Tability

Go to your workspace settings in Tability. Go to the SSO screen and select SAML SSO as the authentication method.

Enable SSO

Keep this screen open, we'll need it later.

2. Add a new application for Tability in OneLogin

Open a new tab and go to OneLogin. Click on Add App from the Admin Applications screen.

Add a new application

Search for SAML Test Connector and select the application named SAML Test Connector (IdP w/ attr w/ sign response).

Select SAML Test Connector

In the configuration screen change the display name to Tability and save.

Rename to Tability

3. Configure SAML in OneLogin

In your application, go to the Configuration section and copy the values from your workspace SSO settings in Tability.

  • Audience: copy the value of the SP Entity ID (<workspace>)
  • Recipient: copy the value of the SP Consumer URL: (<workspace>)
  • ACS (Consumer) URL Validator: copy the value of the SP Consumer URL: (<workspace>)
  • ACS (Consumer) URL: copy the value of the SP Consumer URL: (<workspace>)

4. Configure SAML in Tability

Download your certificate

Go to the SSO section and click on View Details under the certificate to see the content of the certificate.

Copy the content of the certificate, including the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE to the IDP certificate field in Tability.

Copy the URL in the SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP) field, and paste the URL into the IDP SSO URL field in Tability.

Copy OneLogin params to Tability

Clikc on Update to save the settings.

Sign in via OneLogin to finalize your configuration.

Once SAML is activated, it will be the only authentication method for your workspace. Make sure that your admin account in Tability is associated to a user in your OneLogin application, otherwise you might lose access to your workspace settings.

To finalize the integration you need to sign in once via SAML SSO to validate your configuration.
